Ok so I was reading my bible today and I came across some things and so I looked into them and wanted to post them so I could see what everyone thought. We hear about people in the bible being snatched up into heaven but what about God snatching someone or something and moving them somewhere else?
Well here are two verses that could point to God doing such a thing:
Acts 8:38-40(NLT)
38 He ordered the carriage to stop, and they went down into the water, and Philip baptized him.39
When they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord snatched
Philip away. The eunuch never saw him again but went on his way
rejoicing. 40 Meanwhile,
Philip found himself farther north at the town of Azotus. He preached
the Good News there and in every town along the way until he came to
Caesarea.
So we see in this case that God snatched Philip away to another city and Philip started preaching and sharing God when he got there.
Here’s case two that I found
John 6:16-21(NLT)
16 That evening Jesus’ disciples went down to the shore to wait for him. 17 But as darkness fell and Jesus still hadn’t come back, they got into the boat and headed across the lake toward Capernaum. 18 Soon a gale swept down upon them, and the sea grew very rough. 19 They had rowed three or four miles[a] when suddenly they saw Jesus walking on the water toward the boat. They were terrified, 20 but he called out to them, “Don’t be afraid. I am here![b]” 21 Then they were eager to let him in the boat, and immediately they arrived at their destination!
So we see that in this case were it could have happened again.
So my question is what do you think?
Do you think this is possible that it happened and if it happened then can it still happen now?
Do you know any cases or stories were God has done this in your life or someone else’s?
Now Go Comment!
