Jeremy,

Great post. You hit the nail on the head. Anger is not necessarily wrong. Remember when Jesus cleared the Temple. He was a bit upset I think. Anyway, it is important that we have self control when we are angry and as the scripture said “do not sin”. This is something we all need practice in, thank goodness for God’s grace. Thanks again.

Jeremy,
This is a really good blog. I really liked it. God has been working on that in my life that and forgiveness. After all I have been through its hard not to be angry but with God’s help that has all changed. I am a different person because of all I have been through.

Ha ha ya anger can get u into some situations you might want to be in at that moment but when you think about it and you don’t ask that person for forgiveness or something then things could happen and you could loose a friend for a while I have a story about that this person wouldn’t talk to me cuz she was so mad at something someone else had said and it affected her not to talk to me cuz that anger was so built up in this person that she didn’t want anything to do with me I would ask her for forgiveness and she wouldn’t say anything and i asked her 2 or 3 times and then she said I have changed and God is working on me with forgiveness so now me and this person talk all the time and we tell each other tons of things So anger to a person Leads to nothing but when you put forgiveness in it it leads to a better relationship with that person

Good point. Anger will get you in trouble if you react without thinking about the consequences. It is best if you don’t act on your “gut reaction”. If you take time to think about the situation you can generally make a wiser decision as to how to deal with your anger.

The only point which requires my action is when an innocent child is being taken advantage of.

Yeah I agree. If a child or someone you know is being taking advantage of or being harmed I think it would be good to react and anger is probably gonna be involved. But anger helps in that sense cause the know your serious cause your emotion is there.

Good stuff! Hey you Christians….I have a little bet…well maybe not a bet, but I am saying we should not give up on Digg…it’s a mission field AND we can support other Christians there as well. Jeremy seems a bit discouraged about Digg (and for all the right reasons). However, I say Submit and Digg away! Please help me “win” the bet and Digg this post at http://digg.com/educational/Anger_That_Causes_Action

Help the winning team on the blogosphere!!!

Thanks!

ha, i could never see you taking your anger out on a cell phone. lol thats quite comical. but yeah. when im angry the first thing i do is swear alot. ALOT. but its deffantly hard to help that with where i am and what i do. alot of the times it is anger that drives me tho. its defiantly not the best motivation but out here its the only option some times. but as anger goes it is a good realization of knowing what you stand up for. there is righteous anger and i think you were in the right to be angry at this person. lol i dont think your cell phone deserved the punishment though.
heres a thought that runs through my mind alot. some times when im out and one of the locals gives me a stare or strange look. i get fired up. like really fired up. and so much hatred and rage boils up inside me and if i had the opportunity i would snuff out their life at that point. but as i pass and they go on their way, the feeling resides and im normal again. then i think about it and i wonder why i felt that way and i know its wrong but i cant help it at the time. i wish it wasn’t that way. but i can control those feelings thankfully. but hey man. good post and some thing to think about.
